創作経緯 Background and Result of Creation	ブルースコード進行に基づく作品は、既にピアノソナタ第四番・第三楽章で創作していたが、ここでは大規模な本格的な作品を創作した。 Takehiko Sueoka had already created one piece that was based on Blues chord progression as Third Movement of his Piano Sonata No. 4. Here he again created one large dynamic piece of the same kind.
楽曲構成 Structure of Music	ブルースコード進行に基づく。三つのパートに分かれる。 This piece is based on Blues chord progression and consist of three parts.
楽曲イメージ Story of Music	アフリカ系アメリカ人文化に造詣が深いヒッピーの友人は、アフリカ系アメリカ人文化を良く知らない私が創作したこの曲をブルースと言うには恐れ多いので「Like a Blues」と言う題名が相応しいとした。平成31年(2019年)、この曲の情報登録時、YouTubeでの画像を選択している時にアート・タトゥムと言うジャズ・ピアニストの存在を初めて知った。この曲は、アート・タトゥムの音楽とは異なる定式化した音楽であり、私は技巧至上主義に反対する立場であるが、彼こそは、技巧を芸術の手段として応用出来たアメリカ合衆国を代表する最も偉大なピアニストであると感じており、曲の公開と共に、先輩に対して敬意を表したい。 One of my friends who live his life as a hippie and knows the US culture of people from Africa told me that I had not better title this piece "Blues" and recommended me to title "Like a Blues" to be modest to them as I don't know that culture very much. I had a chance to know Jazz Pianist Art Tatum when I was choosing some pictures for You Tube movie of this piece in 2019. This my piece is formed and scored music different from that of Art Tatum and I am against technisism in music. However, I feel his technique is completely harmonized with his art and I think he must be the greatest pianist representing US and I want to show my respect to this great precursor.
